Response to Intervention (RTI)

Response to Intervention (RTI)

Students at ESES receive additional support through RTI (Response to Intervention). This allows students to participate in an extra 35 minutes of Literacy and Math support daily. This instruction is provided by classroom teachers and interventionists. This support provides below, on, and above grade level strategies to ensure each student is achieving their academic potential. Your child is tested 3 times a year (Aug/ Dec/ Apr) to see where they fall on a grade level percentile scale. Feel free to ask your child’s teacher about their support and progress in the RTI program.
