I am the principal of East Side Elementary School and I believe we will be the fastest improving elementary school in the Missionary Ridge Learning Community. I'm a graduate of UTC and Tusculum College where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Foreign Language Education and a Masters in Education and Curriculum K-12. I'm currently in my 27th year as a public school educator. I love being a school administrator. I feel it's an honor to serve as an educational leader.

 I began my career as a classroom teacher of world languages. Throughout my teaching years, I have worked with students in all grades Kindergarten through 12. I spent the majority of my teaching career as a middle school teacher of Spanish. When I am not busy running East Side, you will find me drinking coffee and writing novels for young adults. I love to create and tell stories of fantastic worlds populated with uncanny creatures. Teaching, reading, and writing are my passions.
