Hello! My name is...

Micaela Ruiz-Moreno 

More commonly known as Miss Ruiz. This is my first year at East Side and I am so excited to get to work with this community. I graduated from Lee University with a B.S in Elementary Education. I have previously taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade but I am thrilled to be in 5th grade! 

A couple of fun facts:

• I have 3 sisters, 1 older and 2 younger.
• My family and I are from Argentina but they currently live in North West Indiana.
• One time, I ate whale blubber in a small village in Alaska.
